Where do I go to access my survey data?

The website to access your survey data is https://surveysolutions.pressganey.com. Your username is your email address and you can click "If you can't remember your password, please click here" if you need to generate a new password. Please be aware that it can take up to 30 minutes for the system to recognize a new password.

My survey result log-in credentials aren't working

First, please confirm that you are using the correct email address. If your organization has multiple email address on record for you, please try both.

If you have forgotten your password, you can click "If can't remember your password, please click here," which will send an email directly to you to prompt you to reset your password. Again, if you have multiple email addresses, please try both. This email will come from survey_solutions@pressganey.com. If you have trouble finding the email, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

If you do not receive an email with a password reset and you see the error message "user credentials incorrect" when logging in, it is possible that you haven't been given access to the survey results site. Please confirm with your HR team or other survey administration group that you should have access; if you should have access and you continue to have trouble logging in, please contact us by submitting a request above.

If the error message you see says "user disabled," this means that you have not yet activated your account and set up your password after receiving the initial email message from the Advisory Board. By clicking "If can't remember your password, please click here," you can directly reset your password and log in, or, you can consult your email to find the original message.

How do I access my results if my name has recently changed?

First, try logging in to the results site with your updated email address. Organizations are typically very conscious of name changes, and our records are updated frequently. If this does not work, try logging in with your former email address.

If you still cannot access your results after trying both of the above options, please send an email to survey_solutions@pressganey.com. In this email, please explain the situation, and provide both your current and former names, so we are able to search our user database most effectively.

The results site is loading slowly

Our sites are optimized for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or the most recent versions of Internet Explorer (10 and 11). Please try using one of these browsers for the best performance. Refreshing the page, clearing the cookies out of your cache, or choosing a different browser can help improve performance.

How do I filter my survey data?

In the results site, you'll have the ability to "filter" reports, which allows you to look at responses and charts for different segments of the organization. On the right-hand side of the page, there is a blue "filters" button for this purpose.

While you are in the "Reports" tab of the results site, you will be able to filter by organizational structure and reporting hierarchy for an employee engagement survey, and by professional relationship, specialty, and site/group for the provider survey. When you navigate to the "Analytics" tab, the same "filters" button will have additional capabilities to allow you to drill further into the survey results.

If you are a manager, you are also able to filter by your Direct Reports (the employees who report directly to you) or your Span of Control (all employees under you in the employee organizational chart.) You can also find these filtering capabilities in the blue "filters" button.

Your HR or survey administration team internally has determined which parts of the organization you can view in the results site. If you have concerns about your level of access, please contact them or send an email to survey_solutions@pressganey.com.

Why are some of the options in my results filters grayed out?

If any option in the filter drop-down menus is gray and won't allow you to select it, this means that the individual group did not meet our reporting threshold. To protect confidentiality, our employee engagement site does not show data for groups of fewer than five respondents and our provider engagement site does not show data for groups of fewer than three respondents. If you need access to additional groups within the survey, please contact your HR department or send an email to survey_solutions@pressganey.com.

I need access to additional or different survey results

First, please use the "filters" button on the right-hand side of the results page to confirm which organizational units you can currently access. If your access is incorrect, please send an email to survey_solutions@pressganey.com and let us know. In your request, please include the exact facility, department, and units you need access to, as well as the specialty and site/group, as applicable.

When will my request be answered?

Survey Solutions monitors emails to our support address from 9am-5pm Eastern, Monday-Friday (excluding federal holidays). Please allow 24-48 hours for your request to be processed.

Navigating the Action Planning Tool

Where do I go to access the Action Planning Tool?

Once you log in to view your survey results at https://surveysolutions.pressganey.com, you can click a button in the upper right hand corner in order to toggle to the Action Planning Tool. If you don't have access to any survey results, once you log in to the aforementioned website, you will immediately be taken to the Action Planning Tool. Understanding an action plan

After conducting the engagement survey, your organization has assigned action plans to leaders using our project management tool, designed to support you in building engagement in the coming year. After reviewing your engagement survey results, you should use the action planning tool to outline the steps you plan to take to improve a specific driver question on the survey. We encourage you to collect feedback from your team before creating the action plan. If you have specific questions about action planning expectations or instructions, please contact your HR department.

My action planning assignment is incorrect

Action planning assignments are determined by your HR department. If your role has changed or you believe your action plan has been incorrectly assigned, please reach out to your HR department to discuss the changes that need to be made. If you are certain about the exact change that needs to be made, please send an email to survey_solutions@pressganey.com and we'll be happy to assist you.

I need a second action plan

Because your HR department is monitoring action planning expectations, please reach out to them to discuss the addition of a second plan and confirm the details of the structure. About Us

Survey Solutions, now part of Press Ganey empowers health system leaders to enhance workforce engagement and organizational culture. We offer a comprehensive suite of surveys and consultative support to help hospitals and health systems improve staff, nurse, and physician engagement; isolate the core attributes defining their organizational culture; assess employee perceptions of patient safety; and more.

Our Employee Engagement Survey is typically administered to employees and staff across an organization. It is a confidential survey, created in a way to maximize leader action based upon the results. Data can be cut by organizational structure, leader span of control, as well as through demographic information like business unit, job role, or tenure. There are 47 standard questions, and responses are only shown in aggregate groups of 5 or more. Results are available through an online portal.

Our Provider Survey is administered to employed, contracted, and/or independent physicians and advanced practice providers based on their unique professional relationship, and measures the respondent's engagement to, or alignment with, an organization. The survey contains 28-32 standard questions which capture sentiments on working partnerships, communication, EMR, benefits and other factors that influence a provider's working environment. In addition to the standard question set, proceduralist and burnout-related question bundles can be administered to further expand actionable survey data.

Our Nursing Engagement Survey and Culture of Safety Survey are Magnet and AHRQ-compliant, respectively. Smart targeting ensures that only those individuals that should take the nursing or safety survey receive the specific question set(s).
